Knitted Wool Hair Scrunchie.

These hand made knitted hair accessories are knitted by hand on a manual knitting machine. They are super soft and gentle on hair.

The knit scrunchies are a great way to avoid hair getting tangled in elastic bobbles while at the same time avoiding denting your hair. They have a large diameter when stretched therefore making them suitable for thick and thinner hair alike.

Material

Knitted wool hair scrunchies are made using Scottish lambswool and are available in a variety of colour ways including rust red, oxford grey, pink dusk, black and natural pure wool (un dyed) shetland lambswool.

Custom colours also available so please get in touch if you would like a specific colour that has not been listed. The studio is a wool haven so we might just have what you’re looking for!

I source all of my wools from a small mill shop based in Lancaster called Fairfield Yarns. Fairfield Yarns specialise in selling on surplus and redundant stocks of luxury yarns produced by leading mills in the fashion industry. I first was introduced to the business by my knit tutor during my Edinburgh College of Art days and have been ordering wool from the mill shop ever since! I’m so grateful to this lovely small business. It is because of them that I am able to produce high quality knitwear using these beautiful wools and at the same time using fashion industry waste.
